Lee was born in Waco and raised in Dallas, Texas before moving to Little Rock, Arkansas for college where he was a member and later the captain of The University of Arkansas at Little Rock golf team. While in school, he completed 3 undergraduate degrees in Personal Financial Planning, Risk Management and Insurance, and Real Estate Investment and Management. After college, he pursued a career as a professional golfer before accepting a position as a Junior Advisor for a team at Merrill Lynch in Little Rock. While at Merrill Lynch, he managed $258 million of client assets and was the investment specialist for his group. After the great recession, he left Merrill Lynch to pursue a career as an independent Financial Planner and loves helping his clients become financially efficient and developing plans to help clients meet their goals. During that time, he completed his Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on Corporate Finance at Auburn University. He has continued to grow his practice, Firethorn Financial Group, year over year working with families and small to mid-sized businesses across the country, as either a financial planner or a CFO. His work with New Alternative Green Energy began as a third-party valuation specialist with the intent to value the business for shareholders. After completing the valuations, he began working with New AGE full-time as the Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer. He is FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, 66, and 24 registered, insurance licensed, and a Chartered Financial Consultant. He is engaged to his future wife, Michelle, has one son, Mack, who keeps him busy while playing travel baseball, and a daughter, Haylow, who plays volleyball, basketball, soccer, and runs track for her school, and is an honors orchestra cellist.
